Local SEO Project Manager (WordPress, GMB, Citations)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Local SEO Project Manager to lead and scale local search campaigns for a diverse portfolio of small and medium‑size businesses. The role blends hands‑on SEO execution with project‑management duties, allowing you to drive measurable improvements in local rankings, visibility, and lead generation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch and manage local SEO campaigns across multiple industries and locations.
• Install, configure and maintain WordPress SEO plugins such as Rank Math and Yoast.
• Optimize Google Business Profiles to boost map‑pack performance.
• Build, audit, maintain and clean up business citations on major local directories.
• Implement on‑page and technical optimizations to improve local rankings and conversion rates.
• Monitor rankings, track performance metrics and produce regular reports with actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate recurring SEO tasks to ensure timely, consistent, and high‑quality delivery across all client projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing local SEO campaigns at scale, preferably in an agency or multi‑location environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee a high volume of concurrent projects.
• Analytical mindset capable of interpreting performance data and translating insights into improvements.
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting.
