Legal Assistant (Remote, Argentina)

About the role

WorkBetterNow is seeking a full‑time Legal Assistant to join its remote team in Argentina. You will support attorneys and legal teams by handling administrative and substantive tasks that keep case management efficient and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and format contracts, pleadings, motions, affidavits and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
• Conduct legal research using online databases, summarize findings and prepare reports for review.
• Organize and maintain digital case files, ensuring accuracy and proper categorisation.
• Monitor deadlines, court dates and filing requirements to guarantee timely submissions.
• File legal documents with courts, government agencies or regulatory bodies in accordance with jurisdictional rules.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel and external stakeholders regarding case status.
• Assist in trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists and case summaries.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and company information.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures and documentation standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using legal management software.
