Lead Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to drive reliability, availability, performance and scalability of our production environments. The role blends strong software engineering practices with deep operational expertise to build dependable systems and support engineering teams in meeting reliability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deliver solutions that improve system reliability, availability and performance.
• Define, monitor and track SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Automate manual operational tasks and reduce toil.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting capabilities.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and post‑mortems.
• Partner with development teams to improve service resilience.
• Maintain production systems and resolve complex technical issues.
• Contribute to capacity planning, performance tuning and disaster‑recovery efforts.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform or Production Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience operating large‑scale production systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Programming/scripting: Python, Go, Bash.
• Linux systems, networking and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, ELK.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (or similar).
• CI/CD pipelines and automation.
