Lead Analyst, Learning & Development

About the role

The Lead Analyst, Learning & Development will design, deliver and evaluate innovative learning programs that support AES’s strategic goals. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to align training initiatives with business priorities and drive measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement training strategies aligned with organizational objectives and track effectiveness using KPIs, Power BI, Python and other data tools.
• Configure, adopt and manage Workday Learning for content delivery, program management and learner analytics.
• Map end‑to‑end training request workflows, create learner journey maps and document processes to ensure alignment with AES’s L&D strategy.
• Mentor junior team members and lead strategic L&D projects and programs as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Psychology or a related field.
• Proven experience managing complex datasets, generating actionable insights and supporting decision‑making.
• Experience leading regional or global process‑improvement and learning‑operations projects.
• Upper‑Intermediate to advanced English (B2+).

Required skills

• Power BI (data extraction, transformation, dashboard development).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas).
• Python for data analysis.
• SQL or other BI reporting tools.
• Workday Learning or other LMS configuration and analytics.
• Process‑mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart or Miro (optional).
