Lead Analyst, Learning & Development Business Analyst

About the role

The Lead Analyst, Learning & Development will design, deliver and evaluate innovative learning programs that support AES’s strategic goals. You will work across the organization to align training initiatives with business priorities and drive measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement training strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, prioritize and address training needs.
• Create and analyze KPIs, dashboards and feedback mechanisms using Power BI, Python and other data tools.
• Configure and promote adoption of Workday Learning for content delivery and program management.
• Map end‑to‑end training request workflows and produce learner journey maps.
• Mentor junior team members and lead strategic L&D projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Organizational Psychology or related field.
• Proven experience managing complex datasets, generating insights and supporting decision‑making.
• Experience leading regional or global process‑improvement and learning‑operations projects.
• Upper‑Intermediate to Advanced English (B2+).

Required skills

• Power BI (data extraction, transformation, visualization).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas).
• Python.
• SQL or other BI reporting tools.
• Workday Learning or LMS configuration and analytics.
• Process‑mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart or Miro (optional).
