Junior External Auditor – US Clients

About the role

At PwC, the Junior External Auditor will support audit engagements for US‑based clients, focusing on financial statement audits and internal control reviews. You will work with PCAOB, US GAAP and IFRS standards, gaining exposure to a fast‑paced environment that encourages learning, ownership and commercial awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform standard financial statement tasks, including full balance‑sheet work.
• Participate in all phases of financial statement audits and internal‑control audits.
• Identify and address client needs while exercising professional skepticism.
• Complete audit tasks using PwC’s Aura platform.
• Apply and manage PCAOB, US GAAP and IFRS standards throughout the audit process.
• Proactively raise questions, report findings and maintain clear communication in fluent English.
• Contribute to a wide range of audit projects, demonstrating creativity and initiative.
• Collaborate effectively as a team member, adapting priorities as required.

Required profile

• Graduated or pursuing a Public Accountant degree with at least 70% of the program completed.
• Strong learning mindset and ownership of personal development.
• Ability to appreciate diverse perspectives and provide constructive feedback.
• Commercial awareness and interest in understanding business operations.
• Commitment to professional and technical standards, firm code of conduct and independence requirements.
• Excellent oral and written proficiency in English.
