Junior Data Engineer

About the role

You will support the automation, development, maintenance, and optimisation of data pipelines and infrastructure for a fast‑growing automotive e‑commerce company. Working closely with senior data engineers, you will process, clean and transform large data sets, ensuring data integrity for analytics and business decisions while also assisting the internal IT team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications for data processing, analysis and automation.
• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Review data for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Organise and maintain electronic records for company databases.
• Analyse data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in creating reports and proposals for management.
• Provide IT support and address technical issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Support the IT management team with notebook and server setup.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Availability to work full USA hour shifts (EST, CST, MST or PST).
• 1‑2 years of full‑time private‑sector experience in IT or data science using Python and Power BI.
• Professional experience with Python libraries such as scipy, pandas and scikit‑learn.
• No disciplinary actions related to attendance, conduct or performance in the past 90 days.
