Internal Controller

About the role

The Internal Controller will report to the Internal Controls & ITGC Compliance Supervisor and support the Americas region. The role focuses on strengthening internal control processes, ensuring accounting standards are met, and adding value to financial information before external audit submission.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison for external audits, reviewing, validating, and enhancing accounting information and supporting evidence.
• Develop and maintain accounting‑related internal controls, guaranteeing accurate documentation and compliance with applicable standards.
• Analyze financial processes, identify control gaps, propose mitigating controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support operational and compliance activities across the region to uphold strong internal standards.
• Maintain accurate records of internal‑control activities and collaborate with other departments to ensure organization‑wide compliance.

Required profile

• Graduated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) degree.
• Experience in an accounting firm, preferably a Big 4 environment.
• Knowledge of tax settlement or tax compliance is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
