Intermediate Test Engineer (Hybrid Manual & Automation)

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate Test Engineer to join a fast‑paced Agile team working on a modern Point‑of‑Sale platform. The role combines manual testing of backend and API services with hands‑on Java‑based test automation, ensuring high quality and reliability of our solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute manual test cases for backend and API functionality.
• Perform API testing for backend services and integrations.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Java, Rest Assured, JUnit, Maven and Spring frameworks.
• Investigate defects, conduct root‑cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint delivery activities.
• Maintain clear, up‑to‑date test documentation and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Required profile

• 3+ years of manual testing experience with strong backend and API testing skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Java‑based test automation in Spring‑based applications.
• Solid understanding of test design techniques, requirements analysis and defect investigation.
• Experience working in Agile teams and using Git for version control.
• Upper‑Intermediate English communication skills.
