Integrations Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Integrations Reliability Engineer ensures the stability and observability of software integrations that connect Avature’s platform with third‑party systems. Working closely with Technical Support and Engineering, you will analyze real‑world integration behavior, troubleshoot incidents, and drive proactive improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot integration issues reported by Technical Support.
• Investigate logs, dashboards, and system behavior to identify root causes.
• Serve as the liaison between support and engineering teams during incident analysis.
• Define alerts and monitoring strategies for critical integration points.
• Perform proactive pattern detection and periodic reviews to prevent incidents.
• Handle urgent production issues as needed.
• Occasionally configure or make minor developments in integration frameworks.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfort working with incomplete information to diagnose technical problems.
• Proficient reading comprehension of technical English documentation.
• Understanding of backend fundamentals such as request/response cycles and integration behavior.

Required skills

• Knowledge of APIs and HTTP protocols.
• Experience reading and interpreting logs.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Kibana, Grafana or similar).
• Understanding of data flow between systems.
