Ingredients Sourcing Analyst

About the role

CookUnity is looking for an Ingredients Sourcing Analyst to connect culinary needs with operationally sound sourcing decisions. You will evaluate ingredient and supplier options, lead sourcing projects, and ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective ingredients are available when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain secondary‑sourcing coverage for assigned ingredients, validating substitutes, supplier availability, on‑hand quantities and lead times.
• Lead end‑to‑end RFP processes, coordinate sample testing with Culinary, and drive implementation across the network.
• Develop supplier strategies for quality‑concerned ingredients and coordinate bench samples and market pilots.
• Manage ingredient and vendor setup in Wholesaleware, Parsley, Supplier Service and NetSuite, ensuring accurate handoffs.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Experience or strong interest in ingredient sourcing, procurement or food‑industry operations.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) and strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
