Indirect Materials & Services Operational Buyer

About the role

As an Indirect Materials & Services Operational Buyer you will ensure the availability of indirect materials and services, resolve plant‑specific issues and manage the full requisition‑to‑fulfilment process for assigned vendors or categories.

Key responsibilities

• Release purchase orders to third‑party suppliers according to global category manager instructions.
• Track and follow up purchase order deliveries to guarantee security of supply.
• Provide support to internal partners and vendors regarding purchase orders.
• Coordinate delivery and quality non‑conformities with plant partners.
• Assist in root‑cause analysis of invoice discrepancies and support escalation handling.
• Resolve vendor disputes and non‑conformities.

Required profile

• College or university degree (or advanced student).
• Fluent English; Portuguese is desirable.
• At least 1 year of relevant procurement experience or experience in a shared service centre.
