Maintenance & Project Services Consultant

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineer to join its Asset Management practice in Salta, Argentina. The role involves supervising electromechanical assembly, piping, and maintenance contractors on‑site at a client facility in Puna, Salta, and later participating in Asset Management and Reliability projects for local and North American clients.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electromechanical, piping, and maintenance contractors during field execution activities.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance and construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
• Support plant maintenance shutdowns (Turnarounds) and project execution activities.
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Contribute to maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives and prepare technical reports and presentations.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in industrial environments such as mining, oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Planner, Coordinator, or Electromechanical Project Supervisor.
• Experience leading contractors, maintenance crews, or field teams and participating in plant turnarounds.
• Intermediate to advanced English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and P&IDs.
