Head of Operations (COO) – Beauty Industry Agency

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Operations (COO‑level) to own Finance, HR, and Systems for a fast‑growing beauty industry agency. You will manage payroll, invoicing, contractor payments, ensure HR compliance and onboarding, and keep operational tools running smoothly. This hands‑on role works closely with the Founder to remove bottlenecks and build structure in a fast‑paced, remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage payroll, invoicing, and contractor payments.
• Oversee HR compliance, onboarding, and related processes.
• Maintain and optimize operational tools such as Monday.com and Slack.
• Collaborate with the Founder to identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
• Build and implement scalable structures and processes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in operations, finance, HR, or business management.
• Experience in the beauty industry (makeup, skin care) is required.
• Strong background in invoicing, payroll, and financial operations.
• Solid understanding of HR processes and compliance.
• Proven track record managing contractors or distributed remote teams.
• Experience in agency environments (mandatory).
