Head of CRO

About the role

KittySpout and DoggySpout are seeking a hands‑on CRO Lead to own every conversion test across both brands, including site pages, landing pages, paid‑acquisition funnels, on‑site offers and post‑purchase upsells. You will set strategy, build the backlog, brief and QA tests, launch them and ship the winners.

Key responsibilities

• Own the CRO test plan and backlog for both brands, prioritising by expected impact.
• Build, test and launch paid‑acquisition funnels, on‑site offers and post‑purchase upsells.
• Brief, QA and launch tests weekly, call results honestly and ship winning variations.
• Detect and resolve conversion drops on the same day.
• Manage the CRO agency and coordinate with the Head of Growth on in‑house work.
• Report CRO KPIs weekly and run the CRO & Funnels meeting.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years running CRO programs for Shopify DTC brands.
• Proven record of tests that lifted conversion rate, AOV or revenue per visitor with data to back it up.
• Comfortable working overtime or weekends when needed.
• Excellent cultural fit with the company’s values of speed, data‑driven decision‑making and over‑delivering.

Required skills

• Deep hands‑on experience with Intelligems.
• Experience with AfterSell (or similar) for post‑purchase upsells.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Clarity and Shopify analytics.
• Ability to design experiments, write clear hypotheses and size tests properly.
• Experience briefing developers/designers and managing a CRO agency.
