General Ledger Accountant – Argentina (US ET Hours)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our boutique accounting firm. The role works closely with our U.S.-based team, so you must be able to operate on U.S. Eastern Time hours and communicate effectively in English.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, adjustments and reclassifications.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and support month‑end and year‑end close.
• Review financial information to identify errors, inconsistencies or unusual transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and U.S. stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and maintain organized records.
• Assist with financial reporting, process improvements and ad‑hoc GL‑related requests.

Required profile

• 4–10 years of professional experience in general ledger or general accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GL processes and month‑end close.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and maintain high attention to detail.
• Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time (ET) hours.
