Freelance Motion Designer for Remote Ad Studio

About the role

Growthcurve is seeking a freelance Motion Designer to create motion graphics and 3D animation for high‑impact ad campaigns. This is a full‑time remote position (Monday‑Friday) working closely with the growth and creative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and animate motion‑graphics ads and 3D sequences using After Effects and Cinema 4D.
• Take briefs via Jira, ask clarifying questions, and own projects from concept through final delivery.
• Share work in Frame.io, incorporate feedback quickly, and deliver masters in all required formats (1:1, 9:16, 16:9, 4:5).
• Build variant assets for testing hooks, messages, colours and edits.
• Maintain organized project files and source assets for team accessibility.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a motion designer in an agency, studio, brand or as an established freelancer.
• Strong eye for type, layout, colour and timing in motion.
• Fluent understanding of how motion works on TikTok, Meta and YouTube.
• Self‑managing, reliable and able to juggle multiple briefs.
• Clear written English and comfortable collaborating with a London‑based team.
