Forward Deployed Engineer (Buenos Aires)

About the role

Salesforce is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers in Buenos Aires, Argentina: experienced technical builders who design, build and deploy agentic AI solutions directly inside enterprise customer environments. Working as part of a delivery team with a Deployment Strategist, you co-build solutions that go live in production from day one, covering configuration, customization and full-stack deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design agent intelligence: prompts, reasoning, tool calls and integration with customer systems using the Agentic AI platform and current LLM techniques.
• Own technical components end-to-end, from architecture choice to deployed, validated and observable in production.
• Build and integrate data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks and customer data platforms; model data and validate output.
• Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept and MVPs that move from concept to deployable quickly.
• Co-build with customers and partners, share best practices and enablement, and surface platform gaps and field insights to senior engineers and the product team.
• Partner with the Deployment Strategist to turn customer business challenges into shippable agentic solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, ideally in an AI tech stack, full-stack development or with frontier models.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience (consulting, professional services or forward deployed engineering) is required.
• Fluent in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or Apex, and willing to expand the list.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, and ability to explain why a prompt fails.
• Comfortable talking to sales teams and customer architects, and willing to travel about 25% of the time.
