Data & Software Engineer (Advanced English)

About the role

Fligoo designs and implements artificial intelligence and software solutions for large organizations, combining proprietary AI products focused on predictive analytics and behavior modeling with AI and software development services. This full-time position in Córdoba involves owning and evolving the data infrastructure, from FHIR ingestion through AI-powered enrichment, on a project with a U.S.-based health industry partner. The role contributes to moving from batch ETL to event-driven pipelines and expanding RAG capabilities, with real influence over technical direction and architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain pipelines that ingest FHIR data from customer EHRs into AWS HealthLake
• Develop ETL processes using Glue and Spark for a multi-tenant Redshift warehouse
• Lead the transition from batch Glue jobs to event-driven pipelines (Kinesis/Kafka)
• Build AI agents using MCPs for data enrichment workflows pushing to HealthLake, OpenSearch and RDS
• Improve the RAG pipeline with Neptune and S3 vector store integration

Required profile

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Strong AWS data services experience (Glue, Redshift, RDS, Kinesis or Kafka)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; working knowledge of C#
• Experience with Spark or similar distributed processing
• Comfort with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Copilot
• Advanced English
