Financial Specialist – Revenue Accounting

About the role

The Financial Specialist will lead the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue closing process for the global and Latin America business units. This role ensures that all results are accurate, timely and compliant with IFRS and local GAAP, supporting the finance team with critical reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Execute global and Latin America revenue closing cycles, including contract review, journal entries, accruals and reporting packages.
• Analyse revenue and cost accounting events, produce comprehensive documentation and maintain accounting controls.
• Develop, implement and archive desktop procedures and accounting controls for new or evolving scenarios.
• Assist business groups with compliance, process improvement and internal controls.
• Communicate with auditors and tax authorities, preparing evidence for annual audits or special investigations.
• Provide transaction data and reporting support to finance, risk management and regional business teams.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting work experience.
• Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including financial modeling).
• Financial modeling and analytical techniques.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
