Financial Controller (Remote - Argentina)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Controller to lead the financial operations of our Houston‑based immigration law firm. This position supports our mission of helping asylum seekers by ensuring sound financial management and providing clear insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, including accounting systems, billing, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, financial reports, and payroll oversight.
• Coordinate tax reporting and maintain internal controls.
• Lead finance‑related operational projects and serve as the first level of financial analysis.
• Translate complex financial data into plain‑English insights for budgeting, profitability, pricing, collections, and strategic planning.
• Identify financial risks, recommend corrective actions, and uphold strong financial discipline as the firm grows.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate financial information clearly.
• Experience in financial reporting, cash‑flow management, and internal controls.
