Financial Analyst

About the role

Kapsch is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its international finance team. The role supports financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis across the organization, providing accurate data and insights for business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes.
• Prepare and maintain recurring monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports.
• Analyze actual financial results against budget, forecast and prior‑year performance.
• Identify, investigate and explain key variances, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Assist month‑end and quarter‑end close activities in coordination with Accounting.
• Monitor revenue, operating expenses, headcount, capital expenditures and other performance indicators.
• Develop and maintain financial models, schedules and analyses for business planning.
• Partner with business and functional teams to collect inputs, validate assumptions and understand performance.
• Support preparation of management presentations and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues across countries, regions and functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, reporting, budgeting or forecasting.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
