Finance Manager

About the role

You will own the end‑to‑end finance function for a technology‑driven logistics company. The role blends day‑to‑day operations with strategic influence, allowing you to shape processes, improve systems, and provide the numbers leadership needs.

Key responsibilities

• Produce financial reporting, management reports and the core numbers used by leadership.
• Lead accounts receivable, customer setup and invoice adjustments.
• Manage accounts payable, carrier accounts, freight‑bill auditing and corrections.
• Oversee bookkeeping, month‑end close and general ledger maintenance.
• Handle cargo and insurance claims on behalf of customers.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance systems and processes, working with engineering as required.

Required profile

• Accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent) or strong equivalent experience.
• Proven experience owning or managing a finance/accounting function.
• Experience with Xero and financial reporting.
• Preferably knowledge of the freight or logistics industry.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
