Finance Executive – Accounts Payable (Oracle GFS)

About the role

PIL is looking for a detail‑oriented Finance Executive to support the rollout of Oracle GFS at the country level in Buenos Aires. The role focuses on Accounts Payable, cost controlling, intercompany reconciliation and tariff updates while ensuring compliance with local tax and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in configuration and functional testing of Oracle GFS modules (AP, GL, Tax).
• Validate localization settings for taxes, invoices, vendors and cost centres.
• Coordinate with outsourcing or offshore teams to resolve AP issues.
• Support monthly closing processes, AP reconciliations and vendor ageing reports.
• Monitor cost allocation compliance and maintain related documentation.
• Participate in post‑go‑live hypercare, user training and defect resolution.
• Prepare audit‑ready documentation, SOPs and testing traceability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Cost Control or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of finance operations experience, preferably in ERP environments.
• Experience with Oracle or SAP ERP systems.
• Background in accounting, tax, controlling and external audit within shipping or logistics.
• Native Spanish speaker with advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Oracle GFS (or comparable ERP) – configuration, testing and operational use.
• Strong knowledge of AP, GL and Tax modules.
• Proficiency in ERP reporting and month‑end closing procedures.
• Ability to produce clear process documentation and support audits.
