External Audit – Associate

About the role

Join PwC's Acceleration Center in Buenos Aires as an External Audit Associate, supporting audit and assurance engagements for a diverse client portfolio. You will evaluate financial statements, internal controls, governance, and risk management processes while developing professional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Gather financial records, reconcile accounts, and organize client documentation for audit procedures.
• Perform walkthroughs of processes and internal controls, testing balances and transactions using audit tools.
• Prepare workpapers, summaries, and audit documentation for senior review.
• Communicate with client contacts to request information and track outstanding items.
• Research accounting guidance, audit standards, and industry requirements to support tasks.
• Analyze data sets to identify anomalies, trends, and follow‑up items.

Required profile

• Graduated or pursuing a degree in Public Accounting or Business Administration with at least 70% completed.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.
• Learning mindset, ownership of personal development, and ability to adapt to varied clients and changing scope.

Required skills

• Understanding of audit standards, code of conduct, and independence requirements.
• Ability to gather information from multiple sources and identify patterns.
