Accounting Specialist

About the role

Evolution is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks for its Buenos Aires office. The role supports multiple group entities and ensures compliance with local tax legislation across several South American countries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting, maintain vendor lists, and handle balance reconciliation letters.
• Check customs documentation, coordinate with customs brokers, and process tax payments.
• Conduct annual vendor stock taking and manage paid advances.
• Execute monthly closing procedures, ensuring accurate calculations and postings.
• Assist auditors by providing required documents and reports.
• Ensure company procedures are followed and transactions are recorded correctly.
• Replace colleagues during absences and support all related tasks for group entities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a strong control environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or relevant certification.
• Knowledge of local tax and accounting legislation (Colombia, Argentina, Brazil).
• Good command of English (B2‑C1) and high sense of responsibility.
