Expert IoT Edge Engineer – Embedded Systems

About the role

We are looking for an Expert‑level IoT Edge Engineer to join Globant’s team in Argentina. You will work on embedded firmware for edge devices, helping our clients deliver personalized digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain firmware for SoC‑based IoT edge devices.
• Integrate peripherals such as I2C, SPI, QSPI, ADC, timers, PWM, DMA and IRQs.
• Work with real‑time operating systems and Linux‑based embedded platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile and Gitflow practices.
• Ensure code quality through design patterns, OOP principles and best practices.

Required profile

• Upper‑intermediate English (B2).
• Strong knowledge of C++ and Python (mandatory).
• Experience with embedded devices, microcontrollers and SoC architectures.
• Familiarity with RTOS, Linux, cross‑toolchains and CMake.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and Gitflow.
