Email Designer

About the role

Willow is seeking an Email Designer to blend strong visual design with hands‑on email execution. Reporting to the Creative Director and partnering with the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will create, build, and test email campaigns and automated journeys that are on‑brand, responsive, and performance‑driven.

Key responsibilities

• Design email assets for campaigns and lifecycle journeys (welcome, onboarding, retention, win‑back, upsell).
• Maintain visual consistency while evolving the brand’s email system.
• Build emails directly in platforms such as Customer.io, Klaviyo, or similar, using templates and modules.
• Test emails across devices and inboxes to ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and functionality.
• Collaborate with copywriters, growth, and brand teams to align messaging and visuals.
• Support template and design‑system maintenance and iterate designs based on performance insights.

Required profile

• 3–6+ years of graphic design experience focused on email marketing.
• Background with DTC or e‑commerce brands is preferred.
• Ability to balance brand aesthetics with conversion‑focused design.
