Economics Teacher – AI Training (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking experienced postsecondary economics instructors to help shape the way artificial intelligence understands and explains economic concepts. In this fully remote, task‑based contract, you will apply your classroom expertise to evaluate and improve AI models that generate economic content, from introductory microeconomics to advanced applied topics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review economics questions and scenarios used for training and evaluating AI systems.
• Assess the accuracy, clarity, and depth of AI‑generated economic explanations.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to enhance economic reasoning in model outputs.
• Identify gaps, edge cases, and real‑world inconsistencies in AI‑produced content.
• Work independently and asynchronously without scheduled meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of full‑time teaching economics at the postsecondary level.
• Strong command of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied economics.
• Excellent written communication and ability to evaluate economic reasoning.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and comfortable working on task‑based projects.

Required skills

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs).
• Experience with content evaluation workflows.
