Economics Teacher – AI Training (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are seeking experienced postsecondary economics instructors to help evaluate and improve AI systems that reason about economic concepts. Your classroom expertise will become the benchmark for how AI understands, explains, and applies economics, all on a fully remote, flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review economics questions and scenarios used to train and evaluate AI systems.
• Assess the accuracy, clarity, and depth of AI‑generated economics content.
• Provide structured, expert feedback to improve economic reasoning in AI model outputs.
• Apply real‑world teaching experience to validate concepts, identify gaps, and catch edge cases.
• Work independently and asynchronously with no required meetings or fixed hours.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑time experience teaching economics at the postsecondary level.
• Strong command of core economics topics – microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied economics.
• Able to clearly articulate and evaluate economic reasoning in written form.
• Comfortable reviewing structured content and providing detailed, actionable feedback.
• Self‑motivated and reliable when working independently on task‑based projects.

Required skills

• Master's or PhD in Economics (preferred).
• Experience grading or evaluating work at scale.
• Background in applied, policy, or data‑driven economics.
• Familiarity with AI, large language models (LLMs), or content evaluation workflows.
