Econometrics Instructor – AI Training (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking experienced econometrics instructors and quantitative economists to help shape how AI systems understand and reason about statistical methods, causal inference, and economic modeling. Your expertise will directly influence the quality and accuracy of next‑generation AI tools used by researchers, students, and professionals worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate econometric questions, models, and explanations used in AI training datasets.
• Assess statistical accuracy, underlying assumptions, and interpretation of quantitative results.
• Identify errors, edge cases, and misleading reasoning in AI‑generated economic content.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve model reasoning and explanation quality.
• Apply real‑world teaching experience to evaluate content for technical correctness and pedagogical clarity.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience teaching econometrics or quantitative economics at the college or university level.
• Strong command of regression analysis, causal inference, hypothesis testing, and statistical methods.
• Ability to clearly evaluate and articulate quantitative reasoning, including common misconceptions.
• Comfortable reviewing structured, technical content with attention to detail and precision.
• Self‑directed and reliable when working independently on task‑based assignments.
• Master’s or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (nice to have).
• Familiarity with AI model evaluation workflows or data annotation platforms (nice to have).
• Experience writing or reviewing textbook‑level explanations of quantitative methods (nice to have).
