Developer Tooling Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Developer Tooling Engineer to help build a next‑generation API Review Agent platform and a comprehensive developer tooling ecosystem. You will create production‑grade CLI tools, SDKs, and plugins that improve API governance, automation, and developer productivity across a global engineering community.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement TypeScript‑based CLI applications for API review and governance.
• Develop extensible plugin architectures and SDKs for internal and external users.
• Support software distribution on macOS and Windows, including package managers, installers, and auto‑update mechanisms.
• Implement telemetry and analytics pipelines to measure adoption, performance, and feature usage while respecting privacy and compliance.
• Build authentication, configuration, and credential‑management features for developer tools.
• Create integrations with GitHub, GitLab, CI/CD systems, IDEs, and developer portals.
• Write clear documentation, tutorials, and onboarding materials.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in developer tooling, platform engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining CLI applications.
• Familiarity with software packaging and distribution technologies such as Homebrew, npm, binaries, installers, and containers.
• Practical knowledge of telemetry, analytics, and observability practices.
• Experience with CI/CD automation, artifact management, and cloud‑native tools like GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of API design, OpenAPI specifications, and developer experience principles.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
