Design Quality Control Specialist – Closets

About the role

JL Closets is seeking a Design Quality Control Specialist to ensure every closet design is technically accurate, properly quoted, and meets the company’s high standards. This fully remote position works Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM EST, and plays a key part in maintaining consistency across all projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review 3D plans, technical measurements, specifications, and quotes for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify design discrepancies, measurement issues, and pricing inconsistencies before projects advance.
• Ensure design submissions comply with JL Closets’ technical requirements and quality expectations.
• Provide clear feedback to designers and collaborate to resolve identified issues.
• Analyze recurring errors and recommend process improvements to boost design accuracy.

Required profile

• Degree or professional background in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of closet design, interior layouts, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot errors before production.
• Excellent written and spoken English for documenting findings and giving feedback.
• Highly organized, analytical, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
