Data Scientist - Senior Associate

About the role

PwC's Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is hiring a Data Scientist - Senior Associate to join its Assurance practice. The role focuses on developing and delivering innovative technology solutions, implementing software and driving product innovation to meet client needs. It sits within global teams across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services, and involves managing end-to-end delivery and working with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions for clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful technology implementations
• Develop user stories and project plans to ensure smooth integration and efficient execution
• Lead design workshops to enhance product innovation and software development
• Use analytical thinking and IT consulting skills to address client needs and project risks
• Implement technology roadmaps and software release life cycles to optimize delivery
• Conduct market research and process improvement initiatives to support product enhancement
• Interpret data to generate insights and recommendations, while upholding professional and technical standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; graduates or students in Software Engineering or similar IT degrees (Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Operations Management, etc.) may be considered with equivalent university progress of at least 3 years
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written English proficiency required
• Preferred: Data Science professionals, economists and actuaries specializing in Data Science
