Data Collection & Integrations Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data Collection & Integrations Engineer to join Singular’s Extract team. In this hands‑on role you will design, build and maintain the connectors that power our data movement platform, enabling customers to gather and move data from a wide range of external services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data collection integrations with external platforms using REST, GraphQL, webhooks and other APIs.
• Implement authentication flows such as OAuth, API keys and token‑based schemes.
• Build scalable pipelines for ingesting, normalising and transporting large data volumes.
• Handle real‑world integration challenges including pagination, rate‑limits, retries, schema changes and data freshness.
• Create reusable frameworks and infrastructure to accelerate new connector development.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve the reliability, performance and scalability of existing integrations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate customer data requirements into technical solutions.
• Own the full integration lifecycle from design through production and ongoing maintenance.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and a curiosity for how external systems work.
• Experience building and operating data pipelines or integration services.
• Ability to work independently on complex, evolving APIs.
