Data Architect / Engineer – Cloud & ELT Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Data Architect/Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for a leading global toy manufacturer. The role focuses on leveraging Databricks, AWS, and modern ELT/ETL patterns within a Medallion Architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines using the Bronze‑Silver‑Gold Medallion Architecture in Databricks.
• Deploy and manage data infrastructure as code with Terraform, establishing CI/CD and DataOps best practices.
• Standardize data ingestion and transformation using tools such as LakeFlow, Workato, and dbt Cloud.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for advanced data modeling, ensuring performance, integrity, and cost efficiency.
• Support machine‑learning lifecycles and MLOps by managing data pipelines and scripts.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Python and SQL.
• Certified Databricks Data Engineer with extensive experience in dbt Cloud and Terraform.
• Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services.
• Prior experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of Medallion Architecture, modern ELT/ETL patterns, and advanced data modeling.
• Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines and MLOps concepts.
