Data Analyst – Remote (Argentina)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to work remotely from Argentina. The role focuses on building data models, automating data workflows, and supporting data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data models from scratch for green‑field projects across multiple domains.
• Perform data manipulation, automation and API‑based extraction using Python.
• Write, optimise and maintain complex SQL queries on relational and cloud databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Utilise Azure data services such as Data Lake and Azure SQL to store and process data.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data products.

Required profile

• Strong background in data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficient in Python programming with experience in pandas, regex and API extraction.
• Excellent SQL skills and familiarity with both on‑premise and cloud databases.
• Good understanding of Azure cloud data services.
• Problem‑solving mindset, self‑starter attitude and ability to work with ambiguity.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder interaction.

• Data modelling tools (Erwin Data Modeler, Power Designer or similar).
• Python (pandas, regex, API extraction).
• SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL.
• Data product design principles.
• Optional: XBRL / iXBRL, advanced modelling techniques, business analysis, project management.
• Optional: Data visualisation (Tableau, Power BI).
• Optional: OCR/document extraction (pdfplumber, PyMuPDF, Tesseract OCR).
