Customer Master Data Specialist – Inbound Call Center

About the role

Ecolab is looking for a Master Data Specialist I to manage inbound requests for new or updated customer accounts. You will work in a fast‑paced call‑center environment, ensuring the accuracy and quality of customer master data across multiple enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process internal inbound requests for new accounts or updates, following divisional CMD policies.
• Maintain high data quality in Mainframe, SAP, JD Edwards, or AS400 environments.
• Align field representatives and contracts to guarantee correct sales credit, commission, and pricing.
• Use data‑cleansing tools to audit records, identify duplicates, and enforce naming and address standards.
• Leverage application tools and resources to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Create and track personal performance plans and goals on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or a business environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent research and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining a positive attitude.
