Cost Manager / Construction Cost Specialist

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Construction Cost Specialist to join its Real Estate team in Buenos Aires. The role focuses on cost planning and control throughout the full project lifecycle for construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, preliminary and definitive cost estimates.
• Develop cost plans, project budgets and detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs).
• Analyse design documentation, perform take‑offs and benchmark construction market costs.
• Support tender processes, evaluate commercial proposals and negotiate contractor offers.
• Monitor cost performance during construction, forecast expenditures and manage change orders.
• Produce cost reports for clients and conduct risk and contingency analysis.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 4‑5 years of experience in construction cost estimation and control.
• Proven ability to read construction drawings and work on tender processes.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
