Corporate Lawyer – Energy & Chemical Industry

About the role

The attorney will join ExxonMobil Business Support Center Argentina S.R.L, working from the Puerto Madero (Docklands Building) office. The role provides legal support to clients in the United States, Argentina and other jurisdictions, covering a broad range of transactional, commercial, regulatory and operational matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal support to ExxonMobil business units and build relationships with key business leaders.
• Lead and support commercial transactions, drafting, reviewing and negotiating goods and services contracts and other commercial agreements.
• Represent ExxonMobil affiliates in negotiations with third parties, including governments, partners, suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
• Conduct legal research, deliver analysis and counsel to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare and present training materials and other legal documentation for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the ExxonMobil Law Department and other functional groups such as tax, regulatory and finance.

Required profile

• Law degree and license to practice law in Argentina.
• LLM from a U.S. university or a U.S. bar license (strongly preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Minimum of three years of relevant legal experience.
