Controlling Analyst – Sunflower Trading Finance

About the role

Join Syngenta's Agri Value Chain Business team in Buenos Aires as a Controlling Analyst, focusing on financial control and reporting for Sunflower Trading operations. You will ensure accounting accuracy, compliance with standards, and provide insights that support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control all sunflower trading financial operations across the Agri Value Chain business.
• Track daily trading positions, P&L estimates and maintain accurate stock level records.
• Execute month‑end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS standards and local accounting regulations.
• Develop and maintain a robust financial control environment for sustainable growth.
• Prepare and present financial reports to support strategic business decisions.

Required profile

• Public Accountant qualification or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or near‑graduation).
• Knowledge of the grain commercialization business (domestic and export) or experience in a Big Audit firm.
• Good analytical and teamwork skills.
• Intermediate English proficiency (desired).
