Construction Estimator (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to prepare detailed, accurate estimates for large ground‑up construction projects. This is a remote, full‑time contract position working directly with American subcontractors and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates by reviewing plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, subcontractor, and other costs.
• Solicit, review, and compare pricing from subcontractors and vendors.
• Identify gaps, exclusions, and cost risks, and maintain detailed budgeting documentation.
• Communicate estimates clearly to clients, answer questions, and present pricing in an organized manner.

Required profile

• Proven experience estimating large ground‑up construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, quantities, and subcontractor pricing.
• Excellent spoken English and professional communication with U.S. clients and vendors.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple estimates independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction estimating and quantity‑takeoff software.
• Experience working with U.S. construction companies, general contractors, or subcontractors.
