Compliance Services Associate

About the role

Sovos is looking for a Compliance Services Associate to join its tax compliance team. You will act as a trusted partner to clients, helping them meet regulatory deadlines and ensuring accurate tax reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver client services using Sovos’ Tax Information Reporting (1099), ACA, Sales & Use Tax, FATCA, Unclaimed Property, and Certificate Management software.
• Ensure compliance with IRS, state, and local requirements by following internal policies and client‑specified procedures.
• Interact directly with clients, providing issue resolution, proactive communication, and support for compliance workflows.
• Support data reconciliation, research, and problem‑solving tasks as directed by senior team members.
• Leverage AI tools and workflow automation to identify process improvements and reduce risk.

Required profile

• Foundational experience in client service, compliance support, or a related field with strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Effective communication in English and ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to clear a background check due to client contractual obligations.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Comfort learning new software quickly.
