Commercial Finance and Revenue Models Lead, Associate Director

About the role

This Associate Director role sits at the intersection of technical accounting and commercial finance, ensuring consistent, compliant, and forward‑looking revenue recognition across complex client engagements and strategic accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on emerging revenue recognition scenarios and structure deals with Sales, Legal, and Operations to be commercially effective, scalable and compliant.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on IFRS and EY policies, translating them into practical guidance, playbooks and system configurations (Mercury/SAP).
• Develop and own frameworks for multi‑country and Managed Services engagements, supporting accurate revenue reporting and margin protection.
• Lead the evolution toward output‑, outcome‑ and value‑based revenue models, defining metrics and revenue triggers.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising large, complex deals on revenue recognition (IFRS) and margin across multi‑country contracts.
• Ability to translate accounting policy into operational processes and system configurations.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
