CoE International Mobility Specialist, Americas

About the role

Operating within a transversal business unit, the CoE International Mobility Specialist, Americas is the primary subject‑matter expert and dedicated point of contact for employees navigating expatriate assignments across North, Central and South America. Reporting to the Head of International Mobility CoE, Americas, you will support and guide the end‑to‑end expatriate lifecycle, ensuring a seamless, compliant, and positive experience for assignees and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated expert and central liaison for employees and families throughout the entire expatriate assignment lifecycle.
• Coordinate all phases of the expatriate process, including contract negotiations, relocation logistics, payroll coordination, tax support liaison, bonus and merit cycles, repatriation, and assignment extensions.
• Interpret and apply corporate international mobility policy, providing clear guidance and handling exceptions.
• Liaise with external relocation and tax vendors to ensure high‑quality service delivery and cost‑effectiveness.
• Partner closely with HR Business Partners and the Group International Mobility team to align assignments with regional business needs.
• Manage holistic relocation services such as household goods shipment, housing placement, school search assistance, and local settling‑in services.
• Steward the end‑of‑assignment and repatriation lifecycle, facilitating smooth transitions back to the home country or to subsequent assignments.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and tax requirements, actively identifying and mitigating mobility risks.
• Evaluate and improve mobility workflows to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance employee experience.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records and reporting on mobility activities.

Required profile

• Act as a key partner to HR Business Partners, Group International Mobility, and GBS teams.
• Support and guide the end‑to‑end expatriate lifecycle for assignments across the Americas.
• Interpret and apply corporate mobility policies while providing clear guidance.
