Human Resources Chief

About the role

As the Human Resources Chief at Hilton, you will lead all HR functions for the hotel, ensuring recruitment, development, payroll, employee relations and culture align with Hilton standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment and selection across all levels, building relationships with universities, job boards and agencies.
• Oversee payroll processing, personnel files and compliance with labor legislation and collective agreements.
• Manage employee and labor relations, advising leaders on disciplinary matters and maintaining union relationships.
• Develop and implement the annual training plan, coordinate corporate and internal training, and track effectiveness.
• Coordinate performance reviews, succession planning and the hotel’s annual People Plan.
• Drive Hilton’s culture initiatives, employee engagement, recognition programs and internal communications.

Required profile

• University degree in Psychology, Labor Relations, Education or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in training and development within a service‑oriented or hospitality environment.
• Previous experience leading a Training and Development department is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll, labor relations and HR compliance.
• Bilingual English proficiency preferred, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
