Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

As a Cloud Security Engineer you will protect a sophisticated SaaS platform that runs on AWS and co‑located data centers. You will work closely with engineering teams to design, implement and continuously improve the security layer that safeguards our customers' data.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across the cloud and data‑center infrastructure.
• Audit platform activity and collaborate with Audit and Risk teams to define security policies.
• Analyze deployment specifications and provide security guidance for new services.
• Implement security projects, including hardening of servers, databases and network components.
• Manage identity and access controls (RBAC) and ensure compliance with client requirements.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, including server and database hardening.
• Deep understanding of networking, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention.
• Experience with data encryption, key management and hybrid cloud security (AWS and on‑premise).
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability scanning tools, penetration testing, and incident detection/response.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional engineering teams.
