Cloud Ops Engineer – Night Shift

About the role

As a Cloud Ops Engineer working the night shift, you will ensure the resilience, availability and reliability of Avature’s cloud and on‑premise infrastructure. You will collaborate with global engineering teams, applying DevOps and SRE practices to keep services running smoothly around the clock.

Key responsibilities

• Own and administer Linux‑based servers both on‑prem and in the cloud.
• Build, deploy and configure cloud resources for production and development environments using infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Apply configuration‑management tools to implement changes and maintain consistency.
• Monitor systems, respond quickly to incidents and perform root‑cause troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple specialties to automate solutions and improve platform reliability.

Required profile

• Solid experience in Linux system administration.
• Background managing cloud platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and understanding of security mechanisms for operating systems and cloud services.
• Interest in DevOps, containerization and automation.
• Intermediate to upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
• Willingness to work from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM ART.
