Civil Engineer – Site Design & Drafting (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Professional Engineer to lead civil site design and drafting for self‑storage, industrial, and multifamily projects. The position is fully remote, serving U.S. construction projects across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare civil site plans, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater, and utility layouts based on surveys and topographic maps.
• Perform drainage, detention/retention, and cut‑and‑fill calculations and apply value‑engineering to reduce costs.
• Create quantity takeoffs, support estimating, and assist with contractor bidding and permitting.
• Develop architectural drafts, floor plans, building layouts, elevations, and basic renderings for mixed‑use projects.
• Provide schedule updates and coordinate multiple active projects with contractors and project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of civil engineering experience focused on site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, and utilities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. engineering standards and construction practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Experience with Civil 3D (preferred).
• Familiarity with HydroCAD, StormCAD, or similar software.
• Technical expertise in grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
