Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the role

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will lead Sandbox’s Cybersecurity & Information Security program, ensuring the protection of the company’s digital assets and compliance with regulatory requirements. Reporting to senior leadership and the Chief Technology Officer, the CISO will shape security strategy and act as the primary spokesperson for information security matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for the development, planning, coordination, and management of all information security operations.
• Integrate security initiatives with corporate continuity, privacy, regulatory compliance, risk management, and other related programs.
• Represent the security program to the Board of Directors, auditors, vendors, and external audiences.
• Investigate, recommend, and implement secure solutions that align with company policies and standards.
• Coordinate Corporate Information Security activities, manage the security team, and oversee staffing.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain the company’s security posture.

Required profile

• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Proven leadership experience in managing large‑scale information security programs.
• Minimum ten years of IT experience and five to seven years of direct information security experience.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
